AVK participated in the 4th International Forum “Petrochemistry and Oil Refining PRO”, held on April 23–24, 2026, in St. Petersburg.

The forum was organized by Infoconnect Pro. According to the organizer, the event brought together over 150 specialists from 37 regions of Russia, CIS countries, and non-CIS states, representing oil refining and petrochemical companies, as well as technology, equipment, and catalyst suppliers.

During the session “Best Available Solutions in Equipment for Oil Refining and Petrochemical Production,” Daniil Alekseev, Head of the Oil and Gas Equipment Division at AVK, delivered a presentation titled “Independent Selection of Oil and Gas Equipment by AVK.” He explained how the company’s approach helps customers minimize the risk of supplying equipment that fails to meet technical specifications, save time, and find the optimal balance between price, quality, and delivery schedules.

The approach is built on three key advantages of AVK:

  • Synergy of technology and mechanics. When selecting equipment, AVK specialists take into account temperature regimes, pressure, reaction characteristics, as well as feedstock and catalyst behavior. They approach tasks comprehensively — from process technology to mechanical design.
  • Manufacturer independence. AVK is not tied to any specific manufacturing plant. The company checks proposals for compliance with technical specifications and filters out non-compliant options. Before placing an order, it conducts its own technical audits of production facilities, including those in China.
  • Financial stability. AVK undertakes the prepayment of manufacturing plants. It is ready to work with refineries and EPC contractors on partial or full post-payment terms, which is essential for long equipment manufacturing cycles.

On the sidelines of the forum, AVK specialists held meetings with clients and partners, exchanged experience with industry colleagues and members of the academic community, and discussed current operational challenges of enterprises as well as prospective projects.
