AVK acted as a sponsor, speaker, and exhibitor at the 4th International Forum “Mineral Fertilizers PRO”, held on September 23–25, 2026, in Sochi. The forum was organized by Infoconnect Pro and Krastsvetmet. This year’s event was dedicated to the 95th anniversary of GIAP and Russia’s nitrogen industry.

AVK’s presentation titled “Syngas Catalysts and Technical Service in Mineral Fertilizer Production Technologies” was delivered during the session “Engineering: Production of Nitrogen and Phosphorus Fertilizers.” The topic addressed one of the key questions of the session: the availability of technologies, critical equipment, and catalysts for the industry.

The presentation covered:

  • Portfolio of syngas catalysts for the entire process chain: feedstock hydrotreating and sulfur/chlorine removal, pre-reforming, primary and secondary reforming, medium- and low-temperature CO shift conversion, methanation, as well as ammonia and methanol synthesis.
  • Catalysts for related production processes: sulfuric acid, melamine, formaldehyde, and vinyl acetate, along with associated chemical reagents.
  • Pre-sales service: selection of western catalyst equivalents, technical specification analysis, and preparation of commercial proposals in cooperation with the catalyst manufacturer.
  • Full-lifecycle catalyst technical support: supervision of loading, activation, and start-up; performance monitoring and spent sample analysis; assistance in process optimization and troubleshooting.
  • Supply track record: AVK catalysts have been supplied to and are successfully operating at major mineral fertilizer manufacturing plants.

The AVK booth featured samples of syngas catalysts along with printed materials detailing the company’s products and services. The AVK delegation held a series of meetings and negotiations with clients and partners.

In addition to catalysts, AVK showcased the capabilities of its “Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical Equipment” division at the forum. The company supplies reactors, column, heat-exchange, and vessel equipment, pumps and compressors, as well as spare parts for imported pumps and compressors. Equipment is selected according to the customer’s technical specifications and operating regimes without being tied to a specific manufacturer, and prior to placing an order, AVK conducts a technical audit of the production facilities.
